ABOUT ME
Lauren Dimaya is a Filipino-American illustrator based in NYC. She is the illustrator for graphic novels like The Demon's Prince duology by Remy Lai (Candlewick Press, 2027), and The Midnight Race by Celeste Pewter (Henry Holt, 2028). Her previous book cover collaborations include Scholastic, HarperCollins, and Hachette.
Her quiet suburban upbringing reading "magical girl" stories fueled a passion for vibrant, diverse storytelling. It is her dream to bring relatable queer Filipino protagonists into the graphic novel world. Lauren can be found hacking away at her original comics, hyperfixating on a new manga or craft hobby, or discovering cozy cafes with her partner.
